A strong explosion was heard on Monday at the Indian Air Force base in Pathankot, which was attacked last Saturday, according to reports. Indian security forces are carrying out an operation on the base and have already eliminated four terrorists. Two other attackers are allegedly still on the premises.
According to the latest available information, at least seven security agents have died in the operation.
It was previously reported that on Saturday a group of armed terrorists stormed the Indian air base in Pathankot, the Indian state of Punjab, which is near the border with Pakistan and houses a large fleet of fighter jets and helicopters.
Last Sunday the shooting took place in the same base of the Indian Air Force.
