It was a tragic day for the Brazilian national soccer team yesterday in Belo Horizonte. Brazil said goodbye to their World Cup dreams with a humiliating defeat of 7-1 by a devastating German side. Brazil had come into the tournament hoping to win the World Cup on home soil and the crowd seemed to be completely stunned as Germany simply started piling on the goals. Some of the crowd were weeping. Germany’s goals were scored by Thomas Müller (13), Miroslav Klose (23), Toni Kroos (24,26), Sami Khedira (29) y André Schürrle (69, 79). Oscar scored the lone goal for Brazil in the 90th minute.
